Instructions

Work Progress
We will develop the ideas from Task 1 and Task 2 into more concrete forms, refining the actual design, solutions, and problems in detail. Additionally, we will present the collected materials and information in a clear and understandable way.

About the site map
  • Add stop points at the entrance/exit of the lane

  • Change the colors of the site map to be brighter

Reflection:
I created the site map for this task. Using the actual station (USJ21) as a reference, I designed the map on Canva, simplifying it to make it easier to read. While creating it, I considered where to place the bicycle lanes to improve efficiency and user convenience, and how to make the map easy to understand. I also realized that changing colors or adding elements can greatly affect the overall impression and layout of the map.

In this assignment, I focused on the issue of cycling in Malaysia and examined its specific problems and possible solutions. As an international student, I was able to recognize the differences between this country and my home country, and I also paid attention to why these differences exist. This allowed me to look more closely at aspects that I would not usually notice. By identifying problems that arise from various factors such as the environment and climate, I was able to gain a deeper understanding of the situation.
